Introduction
What we do
CRONIMET Nordic is a circular economy company specialising in the collection and processing of scrap metal and its resale for recycling.
We collect non-ferrous, stainless and ferrous metals and organize their transportation in Estonia, Latvia and Finland. We source scrap metal from several countries and export it to various markets around the world for recycling.
In 2025, we helped return 260,000 tonnes of metals to a new material cycle, and the company’s turnover reached EUR 160 million.
We offer a scrap metal collection service and dismantling service at the customer’s location. We have eight scrap metal collection points in Estonia.
What we are
We started as a family business under the name Eesti Metall in Jõgeva in 2000, buying ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal. Over the years we have consistently grown our company and since 2008 we have been part of the international CRONIMET Group. Being part of an international group gives us access to modern technologies in our field, international expertise and broader business opportunities outside Estonia, while CRONIMET Nordic’s top management continues to centre around the Estonian family that founded the company. We employ over 50 people.
Mission
We are committed to developing circular economy practices and metal-processing technologies in order to return as many metal-containing materials as possible to circulation and provide industry with secondary raw materials.
Vision
We are a leading circular economy company shaping the future – by giving scrap metal a new life, we help create a more valuable living environment for future generations.
